Click 'Start', select 'Settings', and select 'Control Panel'. Double-click the 'Mouse' icon. In the 'Double-click speed' group, move the slider to the left or right to adjust the double-click speed and click 'OK'.
1)Open the Control Panel.
2) Double-click the 'Mouse' icon. (The 'Mouse Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Buttons' tab.
4) In the 'Double-click speed' group, move the slider to the left or right to adjust the double-click speed.
5) (Optional) To test the double-click speed, double-click the jack-in-the-box in the 'Test area' box.
6) Click 'OK'.
7) To close the 'Control Panel' window, select the 'File' menu and select 'Close'.
